Pricing and licensing options

Our pricing combines a licensing fee with professional consulting to ensure it is set up to suit your needs. The cost will depend on how you use Sofia.

There are two ways that our customers make use of Sofia:

  • For Staff Curriculum Review & Governance Licence as part of a quality improvement strategy
  • As a student-facing learning enhancement tool.

Both need some degree of accompanying professional services – firstly to get your curriculum up and running, and secondly follow-up services as you increase your use of the application or technical integration.

We offer two licensing models, depending on how you intend to use Sofia.

Fees

  • £12k Professional services fee for set-up*
  • £6k Licence fee per year

*This covers 1 curriculum and includes 10 consultancy days to help you get set up.
Additional days of professional services may be required at £800/day

  • £6k Licence plus £12.50 per student per annum

Professional services

Our consulting services will depend on your requirements and may involve:

  • Full institution rollout

    Implementing Sofia across all the departments in your institution. Bespoke solution if required.

  • Multiple curriculums

    The system provides multi-tenancy, separated at the curriculum level, grouped into departments / faculties as required.

  • Curriculum consultancy

    We can help you optimise your curriculum to improve pedagogy and administrative efficiency.

  • SSO integration

    If your institution already has a single sign-on (SSO) system in place for staff and students, Sofia can integrate with it.

  • Bespoke API integration

    Sofia can be integrated with any other services used in your institution – VLE, student information, exams, timetabling, etc.

  • Application support

    We will work with you to agree a service level agreement (SLA), in cooperation with your ICT support, to suit your needs.
